Firefighters made three ambulance runs on Tuesday. At 8:19 a.m., there was a house fire at 821 Morphy St.

A 2003 Ford F-150 driven by Matthew Groening hit a deer south of Holyrood on K-156 at 11:32 p.m. Wednesday.

Great Bend Police
A Great Bend resident reported what he suspected was a scam attempt, when someone with a “Millions Club” tried to get him to give them money.
A burglary at 801 Adams St. was reported at 2:30 a.m. Thursday. Someone entered the house and took an alarm clock valued at $15. Beer and cake were also poured on and smashed into the floors.
