Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made seven ambulance runs Friday, 10 Saturday and seven Sunday.
At 1:50 p.m. Saturday they responded to a grass fire south of the river dike.
At 5:57 p.m., they extinguished a small grass fire at the police shooting range.
At 10:54 p.m. they responded to a request from the City of Stafford for assistance on the fire at the former Stafford High School.
At 11:38 p.m. they were dispatched to 549 SW 30 Road for an unauthorized burn.

Great Bend Police
A party at 2109 12th St. reported Friday that a bail bondsman claiming to be a police officer came into the house without permission.
Vehicles driven by Susan Johnson and Brent Esfelt collided at 12:51 p.m. Friday at 16th and Jefferson.
A “false report” case was made and a notice to appear served on a suspect in the 400 block of Maple St.
A forged prescription was reported at 3920 10th St.
Someone took $30 from a vehicle at 222 Hickory St.
A vehicle driven by Betty Jensen was northbound in the 1800 block of McKinley St. at 1:02 p.m. Saturday when it struck a vehicle driven by Pamula Hendricks, who was stopped in traffic, and that vehicle struck a vehicle driven by Cindy Wilborn. No one was injured.
Criminal damage to newspaper racks at 1906 Main and 2201 10th St. was reported, Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
Murdock Dechant, 19, was arrested at 7:44 p.m. Saturday at 2000 1/2 Adams St. for alleged aggravated assault. He was booked into the Barton County Jail in lieu of $20,000 bond. He was also booked on two Ford County warrants for probation violation.
A known person was served a notice to appear for allegedly damaging a window on a vehicle at 2123 Forest Ave.
A suspect in a red ’90s model Plymouth drove off from Love’s convenience store, 1221 10th St. at 12:33 p.m. Sunday without paying for fuel. A suspect in a gray car drove off from the store at 9:35 p.m. without paying for $22.75 in fuel.

Barton County Sheriff
A battery was reported at 3:14 p.m. Friday in the 300 block of North U.S. 281.
A crossbow was found on the south side of Stone Lake.
Theft of a phone from the bar at 206 North U.S. 281 was reported at 2:19 a.m. Saturday. At 11:23 p.m., a fight in progress was reported there.
At 2:33 a.m. Sunday, it was reported that a  woman was battered during a fight in the “dance hall” at Camp Aldrich, 884 NE 110 Ave.
A vehicle hit a deer at 7:11 p.m. Sunday on NE 10 Ave. and K-4.
A pistol was reportedly stolen out of a pickup at 161 SW 10 Ave. over the weekend.
