Great Bend Fire and EMS

Great Bend Emergency Medical Service made three ambulance runs on Thursday. Great Bend Fire Department responded to a grass fire in the 700 block of W Barton County Rd., at 2:43 p.m.

A domestic battery was reported at 12:02 a.m. Thursday in the 300 block of Firethorn St.

A domestic battery was reported at 1:32 a.m. in the 1600 block of Eighth St.

Arson and a burglary were reported at 3:50 a.m. at Kwik Car Wash, 1911 Main St. GBFD responded. 

A burglary not-in-progress was reported at 10:38 a.m. at 1110 Morphy St.

A narcotics violation was reported at 12:09 p.m. at the Center for Counseling, 5815 Broadway Ave. An empty vile was properly disposed of.

A domestic disturbance was reported at 1:49 p.m. in the 3300 Meadowlark Ln.

An injury crash was reported at 3:29 p.m. at 32nd and Main St.

A burglary in-progress was reported at 4:07 p.m. at Stoneridge Golf Club, 1438 24th St.

A structure fire was reported at 9:36 p.m. at Bryant Funeral Home, 1425 Patton Rd.


Barton County Sheriff

A non-injury crash was reported at 6:45 a.m. Thursday at NE 90 Ave. and NE K-156, Barton County

A non-injury crash was reported at 2:13 p.m. at N Washington Ave. and Antelope St.

A fire was reported at 2:43 p.m. at 762 W Barton County Rd.

Trespassing was reported at 6:03 p.m. at 288 S U.S. 281
