Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made two ambulance runs Monday. There were no fires.

Great Bend Police
On Monday, police received a report that someone used a front-end loader and stole a bucket of rock from Concrete Service Inc., 221 Baker Ave. The front-end loader was also ruined.
A vehicle driven by Everett Stricker struck a parked vehicle on 19th St. at 11:54 a.m.
An identity theft case was reported.
A theft from 2518 11th St. was reported.
Someone broke a window on a van at 2507 11th St.
A pair of boots was stolen from a porch at 1220 Hoover St. Loss was $70.
A TV and surround sound system valued at $800 were stolen from 625 Third St.
A news rack was stolen from 1906 Main.

Barton County Sheriff
At 9:27 a.m. Monday, Joel Cavendar, Ellinwood, reported he was in a farm sprayer and had been hit by a semitrailer on South U.S. 281 and SE 70 Ave. He reported injuries that included cuts on his hands. The call was transferred to Stafford County.
A call for assistance came at 2:27 p.m., when a motorist in a Chevy Blazer from Chase reported she was out of gas on East U.S. 56 and SE 140 Ave., and that she was nine months pregnant. Two officers responded.
