Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made five ambulance runs Wednesday. There were no fires.

Great Bend Police
A Kansas license tag 61 BIY was stolen from a scooter at 3203 Forest Ave., it was reported Wednesday.
A theft case was made at Waters True Value Hardware, 1649 K-96.
A shoplifting was reported at Walmart.
Someone broke a window on a vehicle at 809 Main.
An injury accident occurred at 9:02 p.m. Wednesday in the 2800 block of Main. A northbound vehicle driven by Paul Schilowsky struck two posts, a bridge and an embankment. The occupants of the vehicle were transported to Great Bend Regional Hospital. A driving under the influence case was taken by a responding officer.
At 5:37 a.m. Thursday, police received a report of someone breaking the window on a truck at 3417 1/2 18th St.

A vehicle hit a deer at 6:29 a.m. Wednesday, east of Otis on K-4.
A vehicle hit a deer in the 300 block of North U.S. 281 at 7:52 a.m.
