Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made seven ambulance runs Monday. There were no fires, but one false alarm.

Barton County Sheriff
A motorist was adjusting a knob and went into the ditch at 11:28 a.m. Monday on the North Susank Blacktop near NW 190 Road.

Great Bend Police
A traffic stop at 1:40 a.m. Monday in the 2200 block of 11th St. led to the K-9 unit being summoned. Christopher Bauck, Stafford, was arrested on a Great Bend Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear. A search warrant was executed on his vehicle, and Bauck was also booked on charges of no driver’s license, no proof of insurance, obstruction, no headlights, no turn signal 100 feet prior, possession of controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is being held in lieu of bonds totaling $26,500.
A window at 3010 10th St. was damaged.
A vehicle driven by Robert Burkey hit a sign post at 3503 10th St. at 11 a.m. Monday.
