Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made four ambulance runs Thursday. There were no fires.

A known person reportedly took $40 in liquor from Hejny Retail Liquor Store, 821 Main, it was reported Thursday.
Kansas license tag 782-GEB was reported stolen from 313 Walnut St., and a GMC Envoy at that address was keyed.
A dog at 201 Chestnut St. was taken into custody at 1:12 p.m. Thursday by the Golden Belt Humane Society. A case was made for multiple animal permit violation.
A known person reportedly damaged a vehicle at 227 Fifth St.
A wallet was stolen from a vehicle at 1312 Truman St.
Vehicles driven by Lowell Hettenbach and April Van Syoc collided at 5:32 p.m. at 16th and Williams. Van Syoc was cited for failure to yield at a stop sign.
An attempted fraud was reported Thursday after a Great Bend woman said unknown persons were calling and saying they were from the Internal Revenue Service and needed money or she would be arrested.
Fuel was stolen from 1315 10th St.
A circular saw was stolen from the yard at 1615 16th St. Loss was $120.

Barton County Sheriff
A vehicle hit a turkey at 11:17 a.m. Thursday on NW 110 Ave. and west K-4.
A disturbance at the jail was reported around 1:40 p.m. Deputies and the Great Bend Police Department responded.
