Firefighters made five ambulance runs on Monday. There were no fires.

A vehicle driven by Longino Falcon was turning west on 10th St. at 2:28 p.m. Monday and struck Ida Smith, who was crossing the street. This was an injury accident.
A hit-and-run vehicle struck a parked vehicle in the 1800 block of 24th St.
Vehicles driven by Michael Link and Lenora Herren collided at 4:39 p.m. at 10th and McKinley.
A female shoplifter was reported at 11:06 p.m. at the Love’s store, 1221 10th St.
A burglary was reported at 3:20 a.m. Tuesday at 1900 Jackson St. Someone entered the garage and damaged the door to the residence.
At 4:22 a.m., criminal damage to a fence at 1912 Jackson St. was reported.
A burglary was reported at 5:08 a.m. at 2822 18th St.; someone broke into the garage.

Barton County Sheriff
A burglary was reported Monday at 176 SE 1 Ave., where a camper was “trashed.”
Officers used the K-9 to investigate alleged narcotics violations shortly before 8 p.m. Monday in the alley behind the 1000 block of Main St. in Great Bend.
A vehicle hit a deer at 9:13 p.m. Monday on K-96 at mile marker 178, and another vehicle hit a deer at 9:56 p.m. on K-96 and NW 60 Ave.
