Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made eight ambulance runs Friday, seven Saturday, two Sunday and eight Monday.
At 11:05 p.m. Saturday, units responded to 1102 Morton St. for a possible structure fire. They found a small fire on the roof of a shed. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
At 1:47 a.m. Sunday, units respond to a gasoline spill at 2302 Railroad Ave. Approximately 2 gallons of gasoline was on the ground after a customer filled his vehicle at the pump, and the pump did not shut off.
At 9:21 p.m. Sunday, firefighters extinguished a small, unattended camp fire on the south side of Stone Lake.  
A fire alarm at 5:24 p.m. at 5956 Birchwood was triggered by smoke from a backyard barbecue grill going into the house through an open window.

Barton County Sheriff
A vehicle hit a deer at 9:45 p.m. Friday on K-156 at NE 120 Ave., near Claflin.
A vehicle hit a deer at 6:18 a.m. Saturday, just south of the brick plant in the 700 block of North U.S. 281.
Criminal trespass/criminal damage to property was reported Sunday at a duck blind by the river in rural Ellinwood, the 1000 block of SE 10 Road.
A traffic arrest was made by GBPD officer and a BCSO deputy at 9:15 p.m. Sunday at 16th and Main in Great Bend.
At 10:06 p.m. Monday, a Hoisington officer reported the road just west of Mid America Feeders, 251 NW 10 Ave., was completely flooded.

Great Bend Police
Vehicles driven by Edgar Weatherford and Teresa Vaughn collided at 12:07 p.m. Friday in the 4700 block of 10th St.
On Saturday evening, police received reports that hit-and-run vehicles had struck parked vehicles at 3209 10th St. and at 2920 10th St.
An arson case was taken Saturday night after a shed was on fire at 1102 Morton St.
An officer responded to a juvenile complaint at 12:34 a.m. Sunday and arrested two juveniles, one for an alleged narcotics violation.
Locks were damaged at the flood control gate on Kiowa Road, it was discovered Monday morning.
Vehicles driven by Eric Banda and James Wadsworth collided at 3:51 p.m. Monday at 10th and Grant. Wadsworth complained of back pain but refused Emergency Medical Service assistance at the scene.
A burglary was reported at 1414 Wilson St. A Remington shotgun and a laptop computer were taken.
Theft of a driver’s license from a vehicle at 2620 Oxbow was reported.
