DODGE CITY — Great Bend's girls scored 58 points in five distance events to score 119 points for their fourth consecutive Western Athletic Conference track championship.

The Panthers scored 18 points in the 800 meters; 14 points in the 3,200 meters and 12 points in the 1,600 meters. The Panthers won the 3,200-meter relay (10:22.81). and placed runner-up in the 1,600-meter relay (4:11.77).

In the 800, Eliana Beckham (2:21.07) was followed by Reese Bullard (2:28.12) and Sienna Smith (2:28.66). Addy Nicholson won the 1,600 (5:27.62) with Smith (5:30.63) in third. Nicholson won the 3,200 (11:57.81) with Marissa Boone (12:09.8) in third place.

Panther MacKenzie Lindberg won the discus (107-7) followed by runner-up Kimberly Hofflinger (107-6). Macy Nachtigal (135-10) won the javelin. 

Earning runner-up medals were Sadie Spray, high jump (5-4); and 300-meter hurdles (48.77); Allie Gerhart, shot put (35-8); and the 1,600-meter relay (4:11.77 ) with Bullard, Beckham, Smith and Daizy Gomez.

PANTHER BOYS — Freshman Cooper Ohnmacht delivered double gold medals in the long jump (20-91/4) and triple jump (45-4).

The Panthers pulled off a surprise with a first-place gold medal in the 3,200-meter relay (8:25.66) with Braylon Moore, Diego Pasos, Tavon Stroup and Ismael Ramirez.
