Great Bend PoliceVehicles driven by Leroy Wilhelm and Wade Colvin collided at 9:18 a.m. Thursday in the 4200 block of 10th St.A cow was seen on 24th St. over the noon hour.Calvin Hinz allegedly stole items from Dillon’s, 4107 10th St., it was reported Thursday. He was located and arrested on a Pawnee County warrant for theft of property or services, and booked into the Barton County Jail. He was released after posting a $1,250 cash/surety bond.Theft from a newspaper machine at 1906 Main was reported.On Friday morning, theft of items from a residence at 900 9th St. was reported.Great Bend Fire/EMSFirefighters made five ambulance runs Wednesday and two Thursday.At 2:33 p.m. Wednesday they responded to a residential alarm that was set off from cooking, but found no fire.
