Great Bend Fire/EMSFirefighters were dispatched to a hay bale fire at Alfalfa Pellets LLC, 379 NW 40 Road, at 5 p.m. on Saturday. They found two smoking bales.Firefighters made four emergency medical service runs on Friday, five Saturday and four Sunday. They were on standby Friday and Saturday at the Barton County Fair.
