Great Bend Fire/EMS

A fire was reported at 11:55 p.m. Wednesday south of Stone Lake in Great Bend. GBFD responded, and encountered only a small bonfire.


Great Bend Police

A non-injury crash was reported at 9 a.m. Wednesday at 19th and Washington.

A gas skip was reported at Love’s Country Store, 1221 10th St., at 11:58 a.m. Wednesday.

An injury crash was reported in the 5600 block of 10th Street at 5:42 p.m. Wednesday. The driver of a pickup fell asleep at the wheel, left the road, and struck a light pole. The driver refused treatment at the scene.


Barton County Sheriff

Criminal damage was reported at 3:14 p.m. Wednesday at 612 SW 10 Rd., Pawnee Rock.

The K-9 unit was dispatched to a traffic stop in the 2300 block of Railroad Ave., Great Bend, at 7:41 p.m. Wednesday.

A battery was reported at the Barton County Detention Center at 9:19 p.m. Wednesday.

The K-9 unit was dispatched to a traffic stop at 10th and Morphy at 10:19 p.m. Wednesday.
