Great Bend Police

A traffic stop at 12:38 a.m. Thursday resulted in a traffic arrest. The K-9 was called and Tanner Guyton was arrested for no driver’s license and also booked for drug possession, criminal carrying of a weapon by a convicted felon and other charges and held on a $10,000 bond.

A theft was reported at Bling, 2019 Lakin Ave.

There was a fire alarm at 5:35 p.m. at 3021 24th St. but nothing was found.

The theft of items from 2412 Forest Ave. was reported at 12:29 a.m. Friday.

A known person was contacted after a Great Bend resident reported someone trying to open his door in the 2500 block of 11th St. at 4:12 a.m. Friday.

A hit-and-run vehicle struck a legally parked vehicle in the 1600 block of Odell St.


Barton County Sheriff

Criminal damage to property at the Barton County Detention Center was reported at 12:53 a.m. Thursday.

A structure fire was reported at 7:27 a.m. at 228 N. Washington St., Great Bend.

An injury crash was reported at 10:07 a.m. Thursday at NW 200 Road and NW 70 Ave.

A non-injury crash was reported at 12:08 p.m. at 163 SW 80 Ave., Pawnee Rock.

A non-injury crash was reported at 5:03 p.m. at Oil Center South Road and Patton Road.

A battery was reported at 10:19 p.m. at the county jail.

The K-9 unit was dispatched to a possible narcotics violation at Railroad Ave. and Main St., Hoisington, at 11:12 p.m.
