Great Bend Fire/EMS

GBFD responded to a report of a burning plastic smell coming from a backyard at 18th and Heizer at 5:45 p.m. Monday. Upon arrival, crews found an unattended residential fire pit with burning household products. They located the occupants of the house and advised them the burn pit was illegal. Crews extinguished the fire and then educated the occupants on the burn regulations in the city of Great Bend.

An aggravated battery and criminal damage were reported at 5:51 a.m. Sunday in the 3200 block of Morton St.

A fight was reported at 308 Hubbard St. at 7:43 a.m. Sunday.

Theft of a 30-day temporary vehicle tag was reported at 3:43 p.m. Sunday at 1824 Jackson St.

A vehicle fire was reported at Walmart at 7:17 p.m. Sunday.

A fight was reported at 4:42 p.m. Monday at 5809 Aspen Dr.

An injury crash was reported at 12th and Madison at 5:10 p.m. Monday.

The K-9 unit was dispatched to assist on a call at 652 S. Main St., Hoisington, at 6:24 p.m. Monday.

A non-injury crash was reported at 1:15 p.m. Friday at NW 110 Avenue and NW 150 Road.

A possible narcotics violation was reported at 7:01 p.m. Friday in the 2300 block of Main Street.

An injury crash was reported at 12:58 a.m. Saturday in the 300 block of NE 110 Avenue, Ellinwood.

A theft was reported at 6:23 p.m. Sunday at 490 SE 90 Ave.

A non-injury crash was reported at 9:34 p.m. Sunday in the 700 block of W. Barton County Road.
