Great Bend Fire

A possible structure fire at 185 NE 40 Rd. was reported at 8:35 p.m. Wednesday. It looked like there was a fire in the chimney but the occupant had it out before firefighters arrived.

Barton County Sheriff

A non-injury crash was reported at 7:01 a.m. Wednesday at U.S. 281 and NE 50 Road.

The K-9 unit was dispatched to assist at NE 200 Street and U.S. 281 in Stafford County.
