Two Great Bend men were arrested on drug charges Wednesday after a search of a local residence as part of an ongoing narcotics investigation.
According to the Great Bend Police Department, as part of the investigation, GBPD officers executed a narcotics search warrant at 1315 Stone St., Apt. A, in Great Bend, around 9:20 a.m.
During a thorough search of the residence, suspected methamphetamine, marijuana and illegal drug paraphernalia were reportedly located inside. Donald D. Pizinger, 84, and Scott E. Christie, 38, were arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Both were transported to the Barton County Detention Center and booked with bond set at $10,000. Pizinger was released later that day after posting a $10,000 surety bond.
