Greg Drews, 64, died Nov. 22 at his home in Great Bend. Born Feb. 8, 1950, in Great Bend, he was the son of Herman E. and Shirley (Frey) Drews. He was a tester for Halliburton and later worked for Koch in accounting. Raised in Claflin, Greg moved to Wichita to attend Wichita State University and continued living in Wichita for a number of years before moving to Great Bend.
Mr. Drews was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Great Bend.
Survivors include one sister, Patty Drews of Maryville, Mo.; aunts and uncle, Dorothy Winchell of Overland Park, John Frey of Shawnee, and Pat Gillenwater and husband Clif, of Wichita
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6, at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Great Bend with the Rev. Mark P. Galbraith officiating. Inurnment will be at Resthaven Cemetery in Wichita. Memorials are suggested to Wichita State University Foundation or Ducks Unlimited, in care of the funeral home.
