Jeffrey T. Gleason 1993 - 2011

ST. JOHN — Jeffrey T. Gleason, 17, died May 24, in rural Stafford County. Born Oct. 11, 1993, at Great Bend, he was the son of Jim and Linda S. (Reynolds) Gleason. A lifetime resident of St. John, he completed his Junior year at St. John High School.

His memberships include, St. John The Apostle Catholic Church, Jolly Worker’s 4-H Club, Stafford County 4-H Council, State 4-H FCS Action Team, National Honor Society, Band, Choir and FCCLA.

Survivors include, his father Jim Gleason of St. John; a sister, Kristin Gleason, of St. John; maternal grandmother, Shirley J. Reynolds of Abilene; and his paternal grandmother, Darlene Gleason of Spearville. He was preceded in death by his mother Linda S. Gleason; his maternal grandfather, Kenneth Reynolds; and his paternal grandfather, Thomas Gleason.

Funeral Mass was held May 31 at the St. John the Apostle Catholic Church in St. John, with Fr. Floyd McKinney celebrant. Memorials may be given to the USD 350 Education Foundation, Stafford County 4-H Council or the Catholic Church in care of Minnis Chapel, P.O. Box 34, St. John, Ks. 67576.
