NESS CITY — John Vyrl Slagle, age 81, died Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2018, at the Ness County Hospital, Ness City. He was born on Aug. 27, 1936, in Jetmore, Kansas, the son of John M. and Martha Lucille Grumbein Slagle. Vyrl was a member of the United Methodist Church, Ness City, the Isis Shrine, and he was a Mason.
