Karen Kay Manning, 63, died Sept. 14, 2015, at Marjorie Home, Wichita. Born May 27, 1952 at Great Bend, she was the daughter of Ambrose and Mary (Reif) Oberle.
She married Steven Duane Manning February 6, 1976 at Great Bend, Kansas. He died Sept. 5, 2014. She was employed by CPI. Mrs. Manning was a lifetime Great Bend area resident.
Survivors include two sons: Craig Manning and his wife Katie of Shawnee, and Scott Manning and his wife Nicole of Wichita; one daughter, Stacie Sullivan and her husband Brian of Arnold, Mo.; three sisters: Rose Schmitt and her husband Nick of Great Bend, Linda Foltz of Hutchinson, Sharon Campbell and her husband Dick of Hoisington; three brothers: Jerome Oberle and his wife Colleen of Overland Park, Leo Oberle and his wife Lynn of Lorraine, and Norman Oberle and his wife Sally of Ellsworth; five grandchildren: Alex, Ava, Ana, Lea, and Steven
Rosary will be at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 16, at Bryant Funeral Home. Graveside Service will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 17, at Holy Name Catholic Cemetery in Bushton. Father Don Bedore will officiate. Burial will be in Holy Name Catholic Cemetery, Bushton. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 16, at Bryant Funeral Home.
