Karen Kay Weber 1956 - 2014

Karen Kay Weber, 57, died Aug. 5 at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. Born Nov. 10, 1956, in Great Bend, she was the daughter of Nicholas Mathias and Viola Dorothy (Lang) Weber. A lifetime resident of Great Bend, she was a client of Sunflower Diversified Services for 37 years.
Miss Weber was a member of Prince of Peace Parish at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church and the Altar Society, both in Great Bend.
Survivors include two brothers, Nicholas “N.R.” Weber and his wife Dana, and Roy Weber and his wife Susan, all of Dubuque, Kan.; one sister, Shirley Zink of Salina; three nieces and three nephews.
Altar Society rosary will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 10, at Bryant Funeral Home in Great Bend. A wake service will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Catherine Catholic Church in Dubuque with Father Pascal Klein officiating. Burial will be at St. Catherine Cemetery in Dubuque. Visitation will be from 1-4 p.m. Saturday and 1-9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to Sunflower Diversified Services, in care of the funeral home.
