WICHITA FALLS, Texas — Lawanda Jo Ritchie, 62, passed away Nov. 9, 2014 at Hospice of Wichita Falls, Texas.
Born May 26, 1952, in Great Bend, she was the daughter of George Lloyd and Betty (Lloyd ) Burton. She married Gary Ritchie on Pawnee Rock. She was a long time employee of Kroger in Keller, Texas.
Survivors include her mother, Betty Burton of Great Bend; son, Christopher Ritchie and his wife Nadi of Fort Worth, Texas; daughter, Tiffany Ritchie of Colorado Springs, Colo.; two grandchildren, Mathew Ritchie and Rosie Ritchie, both of Fort Worth, Texas; three sisters, Cathy Apeland of Fort Worth, Texas; Penny Murray of Great Bend and Pamela Hibbs of Burkburnett, Texas; and two brothers, Galen Lloyd and Richard Lloyd, both of Great Bend. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Ritchie; her father George Lloyd; and stepfather Irvin Burton.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday at the First Christian Church, 214 Ave. D. in Burkburnett, Texas. Cremation has taken place.
