HUTCHINSON — Marilyn K. Rivers, 74, died April 12, 2015, at Dillon Living Center. She was born June 19, 1940, in Norton, the daughter of John and Addie Sheets Rivers. She was a 1959 graduate of Great Bend High School. A resident of Hutchinson since 1960, she worked retail for her parents at Rivers Shoe Store.
She was a member of First Baptist Church, Hutchinson.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, John Arthur Rivers.  
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum, Hutchinson, with Pastor Tyler Vance presiding. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home and Crematory.  Memorial contributions may be made to the church, in care of the funeral home.
