Paul Turnbull, 81, went to meet Jesus Feb. 20, 2011. Paul, the youngest of 11, and his twin, John, were born in Elizabeth, Pa., in 1929. He attended Sterling College and served as Bushton Postmaster 42 years and on boards of USD 328 and Great Bend Center for Counseling. Paul loved gardening, swimming, family camping trips, making home-made ice cream, playing Boogaloo and Tennessee Turnbull Reunions.
He is survived by: Wife of 58 years, Miriam; children, Carol Turnbull, Keith Turnbull, Linda Becker and Cindy Craig; and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Katherine Mehringer, his parents and nine siblings. He was loved and will be missed. Memorial service will be at 2 p.m., Sat., March 12, at Bushton United Methodist Church, 213 S. 3rd St., PO Box 216, Bushton, KS 67427.
