Terry Gene Thoren, 58, passed away at his residence in Great Bend, KS on March 8, 2018. He was born on December 21, 1959 to Richard and Nadine (Krom) Thoren in Denver, Colorado.
Terry was a lifetime Barton County resident, self-employed, a member of the First United Methodist Church of Hoisington, Kansas and an avid participant in NHRA Drag Racing.
Survivors include sons, Matt Thoren of Great Bend, KS, Eric and wife Courtney Thoren of Great Bend, KS; daughter Tiffany Thoren of Fredericksburg, VA; brother, Charles Thoren of Tustin, CA; sisters, Sharie Martin of Colwich, KS, Keri Burger of Great Bend, KS, Diana Thoren of Waianae, HI, and one grandson, Jesse Thoren. He was preceded in death by his brother Richard Thoren and his sister Jerri Horner.
A memorial service is scheduled to 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 15, 2018 at First United Methodist Church, Hoisington, KS with Pastor Lennie Maxwell presiding.
There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Memorial have been established to the Jesse Thoren Education Fund in care of the funeral home. Condolences may be sent and notice viewed at www.bryantfh.net
