Tina M. Widiger 1955 - 2013

GREAT BEND — Tina M. Widiger, 57, of Great Bend, and formerly of Jetmore and Boise, Idaho, passed away Sept. 9, 2013 at Great Bend Regional Hospital.
Tina was born Oct. 7, 1955 at Camp Lejeune, N.C., the daughter of Floyd and Betsy (Moore) Sauter.
Primarily a native of North Dakota, she was united in marriage to William P. “Willy” Widiger on Oct. 5, 1974 at Goodrich, N.D. The couple lived in Jetmore for 13 years, moved to Boise, Idaho for three years prior to moving to Great Bend in 2009. Tina worked as a certified nurse’s aide in North Dakota for five years and also as an in-home caregiver in Jetmore for three years. The rest of her adult life was spent as a homemaker, where she loved to cook, do beadwork, and read Christian mystery books. Tina attended the First Assembly of God Church in Great Bend.
Survivors include her husband, William P. “Willy” Widiger, Sr., Great Bend; a son, William P. “Billy” Widiger, Jr. and his wife Melissa, Great Bend; a daughter, Jennifer Marie Widiger, Great Falls, Mont.; four grandchildren, Anissa Rae Widiger,  Victoria Montoya, Jordan Ewing, and Korbin Widiger; a brother, Rick Sauter and his wife, Stephanie, Felton, Pa.; five sisters, Donna Gorwell and her husband, Fred, Garretson, S.D.; Cindy Zumbaum and her husband, Rick, Minot, N.D.; Peggy Schemelfenig and her husband, Tom, Bowdon, N.D.; Roseanne Pritchett and her husband William, Wayne, W. Va.; and Helen Sauter, Jamestown, N.D.; and many nieces and nephews.  
Tina was preceded in death by her father, Floyd Sauter on March 18, 1991, her mother, Betsy (Moore) Sauter on March 13, 2013, and her precious black and white Shih Tzu dog of eight years, Baby Rufus in February of 2013.
Funeral services are scheduled at 11 a.m. Saturday at First Assembly of God Church in Great Bend with Pastor Dwight D. Dozier and Pastor Dottie Dozier officiating. Cremation will follow with inurnment to take place at a later date.  
Visitation is scheduled from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Charter Funerals in Great Bend.  
Memorials may be directed to Kingdom Women Ministry at First Assembly of God Church, Great Bend.
