Wayne Merle Temple 1963 - 2015


HOISINGTON — Wayne Merle Temple, III, 52, died Aug. 6, 2015, in Walworth County, Wis.
Born March 29, 1963, he was the son of Wayne Merle Temple Jr. and Donna Jean (Westhoff) Temple. On March 7, 2007, he married Kele Brinlee, in Las Vegas, Nev. She survives. A resident of Hoisington since 2012, moving from Aurora, Colo., he was a truck driver for Swift Trucking. He previously worked as a residential and commercial painter in Denver, Colo. and Las Vegas, Nev. for 30 years. He was an avid Broncos and Avalanche Fan, loved Texas Hold’em poker and roulette, fireworks and family barbecues on the Fourth of July. He also loved listening to rock and roll while on the road.
Wayne attended the First United Methodist Church in Hoisington.  
Other survivors include, a stepson, Kejlt Phillips of the home; a stepdaughter, Kirsten Phillips, Denver, Colo.; dad and stepmother, Joseph and Kay Dernovish, Shreveport, La.; a brother, Joseph Dernovish Jr., Shreveport, La.; and sisters, Dana Temple, Denver, Colo.; Lori (Temple) Hahn, Atlanta, Ga.; Lisa Dernovish, Atlanta, Ga.; Cassi (Dernovish) Wright, Las Vegas, Nev., and Kelli (Dernovish) Joch, Phoenix, Ariz.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wayne M. Temple Jr.; and mother, Donna Dernovish.
Memorial services will be held 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 29, at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home Chapel, with the Reverend Kris Brinlee presiding.
