A few days ago, I had a chance to review a draft ballot for the upcoming election. I noticed that the USD 428 ticket showed four vacancies, with only six candidates listed.
Although there are some good names listed, there is one more name that really ought to be considered. I am referring, of course, to Sara Williams.
I first met Sara when her husband, Ryan, came to practice with my wife, Marta, at the Children’s Clinic in 2003.
In the years since, I’ve learned that Sara is a tremendously energetic and capable young woman, a mother of eight, a professional educator, and, above all, a serious Christian.
She would be a wonderful addition to the school board.
When I vote next Tuesday, I’m going to write Sara Williams’ name as one of my votes for the USD 428 board. I hope you’ll do that, too. Thanks.
