TO: Golden Plains Quilts of Valor Ladies and Great Bend American Legion,

Thank you for honoring me with one of your beautiful “Quilts of Valor.” It was a great surprise and I appreciate it very much! 

I wonder if the people of Barton County realize what these ladies do; I didn’t. They have made and given over 600 quilts to veterans! I would not even attempt to guess how many hours are involved, let alone the expense. 

I wanted to thank the ladies who made my quilt, but I’m afraid I would leave someone out. They all deserve a BIG THANK YOU!

Also, thank you to the lady who makes the pillowcases.
