Panther tennis competes at Garden City
GARDEN CITY – Great Bend’s doubles teams each placed fourth at the Garden City junior varsity tennis tournament. Both doubles teams lost to the eventual Dodge City runners-up.
Scott City’s No. 1 doubles Jaidyn Amerine/Tayler Koehn defeated Great Bend’s Haylee Holinde/Paige Sanders 6-3 for third place. Garden City’s Brown’s No. 2 doubles Sofia Madilo/Hailey Brown defeated Great Bend’s Sheridan Johnson/Kaylee Haag, 6-2 for third place.
Hoisington’s No. 1 singles Gracie Bonham-Debolt defeated Garden City Brown’s Jasmin Carrillo, 6-5 (7-5) for fifth place. Scott City’s No. 2 singles
Ivette Fernandez defeated Great Bend’s Mayci Craven for third place.
