DODGE CITY — The Great Bend High School boys’ tennis team was led by the No. 1 doubles duo of Nick Moyers and Austin Jacobs in Monday’s Western Athletic Conference meet in Dodge City.
The No. 1 doubles team took first place at the meet.
“The No. 1 doubles team never dominated anyone but played very gutsy tennis and pulled through winning the WAC doubles title,” GBHS head coach Shannon Schartz said. “Both Nick and Austin were named to the all WAC team consisting of the top 9 players of the conference.”
Garden City took first place at the meet with 14 points.
The Panthers finished in third place, scoring nine points.
