Claflin native Brad Herter has been promoted to Senior Vice-President at American State Bank and Trust Company in Great Bend. He will continue in his present role as Chief Financial Officer, managing financial reports and data for the bank and its constituents.
Herter graduated from Claflin High School in 1985 and earned a bachelor of science degree in business administration/accounting from Kansas State University in 1991. He joined the staff of First National Bank in Great Bend in December of 1991 and moved to American State Bank in February 2001.
He lives in Larned with his wife Amy and their two children Rachael and Johnathan, is a member of the Great Bend Knights of Columbus and attends Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Larned.
