Members of the Barton County Young Professionals (BCYP) group are invited to attend the 9th Annual Young Professionals Christmas Party at 6 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 13.

The holiday party is one of the many ways YP members give back to the community. The “party with a purpose” combines holiday merriment with an opportunity to give back to children in need in Barton County. This year’s event is sponsored by Keller Real Estate & Insurance Agency Inc. and will be hosted at the Great Bend Chamber of Commerce & Economic Development, located at 1125 Williams St. in Great Bend. 

BCYP members will be asked to donate items to build packages for children served by Central Kansas CASA Inc. Members’ assignments will be provided following their RSVP. Members are asked to RSVP to Megan Hammeke (bartonyp@gmail.com), by Dec. 6, to receive their assigned donation. For those who are unable to attend, donations of items or cash can be dropped off at the Chamber office now through Dec. 13.
