On January 26, Nathan Chlumsky of Larned was inducted into Action Martial Arts Magazine’s Hall of Honors 2013 as an “Ambassador of Goodwill to the Martial Arts” in the category of “Excellence in Teaching Martial Arts.”
He now finds himself in the same category as many prominent martial arts masters such as, Cynthia Rothrock (Martial Arts Movie Star), Don “The Dragon” Wilson (Martial Arts Movie Star/Former Kickboxing World Champion), Bill “Superfoot” Wallace (Former World Kickboxing Champion), Phil Morris (Actor from “Mission Impossible”), Marty Kove (Kreese from original “Karate Kid”), Cary Hiroyuki Tagawa (Chang Tsun “Mortal Combat”) and more.
“It is a huge honor to have been nominated and viewed as an “Excellent Instructor” by someone,” said Chlumsky, “it was truly unexpected.” Nathan then went on to say, “I am truly honored to have been nominated and from the bottom of my heart, thank you to whomever did.”
Nathan is the owner of The Center Championship Mixed Martial Arts, which is located inside of Wal-Mart at Bartlesville, Okla. Currently he lives and works there during the week and then is back in Larned during the weekends
