Erica Seger, APRN

The University of Kansas Health System welcomes Erica Seger, APRN, a family nurse practitioner, to the Convenient Care Walk-In Clinic care team. She joined The University of Kansas Health System in Great Bend because “the health system has so many great providers and I wanted to be part of a team like that.”

As a family nurse practitioner, she enjoys identifying the best treatments for the many patient concerns she sees working in convenient care.

“I always try to be the patient’s advocate,” said Seger. “I look at the whole system of the patient and find the best and most up-to-date care available for them.”

Seger earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice at Fort Hays State University, as a member of the first class of BSN to DNP students. Seger chose to pursue a Doctor of Nursing Practice and become a nurse practitioner after seeing how much nurse practitioners she worked with cared for their patients. She looks forward to serving the Great Bend community.

The Convenient Care Walk-In Clinic treats minor injuries and illness from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. No appointment is needed.
