Cushenbery celebrates 25 years at Watkins Calcara

The Law Office of Watkins Calcara Chtd. in Great Bend announces Dianna Cushenbery of Albert is celebrating her 25th year with the firm.

Cushenbery joined the firm in July of 1995 as a legal assistant. She became the firm’s office manager in July of 1998. Since then, she has nurtured and overseen the evolution of the firm from a relatively small local office to the largest law firm headquartered in the western half of the state.

Mark Calcara, one of the founding members of the firm, noted, “Dianna’s loyalty, dedication and tenacity sets her apart. She is exceptional and has been instrumental in the growth of the firm and in the creation of a competent and happy workplace focused on the needs of our clients.”

Mark Rondeau, also with the firm since it was founded in 1983, echoed those thoughts. “We have been blessed by her contributions and count her as a friend as well as an employee.” 

Dianna is married to Rod Cushenbery, the manager of the Great Bend Co-op branch in Albert and they have two sons, Evan and Cale. A daughter-in-law, Mollie Cushenbery, and one grandson, Jackson, with another on the way. When asked about her time at Watkins Calcara, Chtd., Cushenbery said: “Watkins Calcara is a great law firm. We have a talented and amazing group of attorneys and staff that have helped make the last 25 years very rewarding.”
