Family Crisis Center in Great Bend recently received a check from Great Bend Regional Hospital to the organization’s mission over the holidays. Each year at this time is especially hard for the agency to keep up with the demand of families needing help.
The Family Crisis Center is a private non-profit agency providing advocacy and services to survivors of domestic and sexual violence while encouraging social change through education. The agency provided services to 996 domestic violence cases and 87 sexual violence survivors, sheltered 110 women and children and answered 1,962 hotline calls in the 10 counties they serve.
“What a wonderful gift to receive” stated Laura Patzner, executive director. “We are so grateful for the support of Great Bend Regional Hospital and their staff. We are blessed to live in a community that is committed to the welfare of others.”
