WICHITA – Local nonprofit organization Goodwill Industries of Kansas announces a donation of more than $14,300 to CPRF (Cerebral Palsy Research Foundation of Kansas), thanks to the generosity of customers who chose to round up their purchases at Goodwill retail stores throughout the month of June.

The funds will support CPRF’s mission of empowering Kansans with disabilities through customized services, support, technology, accessible housing, mobility solutions, and other resources that promote independence and community inclusion.

“Every penny rounded up at the register reflects the compassion of our customers and their commitment to strengthening our communities,” said President & CEO Laura Ritterbush. “We are grateful for their support and honored to support organizations like CPRF that make a meaningful difference in the lives of Kansans.”

Based in Wichita, CPRF serves individuals with disabilities across Kansas, helping them achieve personal and employment goals through innovative programs and services. The organization has long been recognized as a leader in rehabilitation engineering, advocacy, employment training, and support services.
