Henry graduates from Kansas Highway Patrol Training Academy

Trooper Roy Henry

Colonel Terry Maple, Superintendent of the Kansas Highway Patrol, has assigned Trooper Roy Henry to Rooks County. Trooper Henry received the assignment following his recent completion of an extensive 22-week basic law enforcement course at the Patrol’s Training Academy in
Salina.
Trooper Henry is a graduate of Wilson High School. Prior to joining the Patrol, Henry was a Juvenile Corrections Officer at the Larned Juvenile Correctional Facility. He has served with the United States Army since 2003. Henry has attained the rank of Sergeant with the Army and serves as a Medical Logistics Specialist. From 2007-2008 he deployed to Qatar.
Trooper Henry has begun his field duties under the supervision of Trooper Brandon Miller. Upon completion of field training, Trooper Henry will assume patrol duties in Rooks County.
