Post Rock Radio, LLC, the owner of KKDT FM and KCNC FM, has announced the promotion of Glen Hoyt to Managing Partner of the company. Hoyt, a LaCrosse native, had been General Sales Manager for the stations.
“We are excited that Glen has accepted the opportunity to purchase stock in our company and to take over as General Manager of our radio stations”, said Post Rock Radio founder Lance Sayler. “Glen’s roots in the community and his customer focused approach are just what we need”.
“I am excited to become the managing partner of the radio stations,” said Hoyt. “In a little over a year on the air we have gained a large and loyal listening audience on both radio stations and have helped dozens of advertisers increase their business. We are a small company with just two stations that focuses on our listeners and advertisers needs. That will never change.”
Sayler said he will be stepping down from day-to-day operations of the station on April 1 to focus on other projects.
KKDT FM, also known as Dave 93.5, is a one hundred thousand watt station covering twenty two counties in West Central Kansas and programming a variety hits format. Ten local ag reports are aired on Dave 93.5 each market day. KXNC FM, known as KISS 104.7, plays Contemporary Hit music targeting a 12-34 year old age group. The station is programmed by Albert, KS native Chris Elsen.
Hoyt and his wife Holly also own Hoyt Health Mart Pharmacy in LaCrosse and have three children, Austin, 6, Aubrey, 3, and Annaleise, 9 months.
