Keenan Law Firm, P.A. of Great Bend recently hired a new lawyer, Hoisington native Addie Herres. Herres is a 2002 graduate of Hoisington High School, and a 2006 graduate of Kansas State University. She graduated in May with a Juris Doctor from Oklahoma City University Law School, and passed the Kansas Bar Exam in July.
“We are delighted to have Addie as a new lawyer at our firm,” said Larry E. Keenan, senior partner at Keenan Law Firm, P.A. Herres joins Larry Keenan, along with his sons, Tim and Marty as lawyers at the firm. “It’s especially nice to see a young person such as Addie return home to pursue her career,” said Keenan.
Although Keenan Law Firm handles a variety of legal matters, Herres is concentrating her time in legal matters involving oil and gas, land titles, and probate. “My plan was always to return home to pursue my career,” said Herres. “I am thankful to Keenan Law Firm for giving me this opportunity.” Herres started with Keenan Law firm in August. Herres was formally sworn in as a member of the Kansas Bar at a recent ceremony at the Kansas Supreme Court in Topeka.
