Each year Kansas Farm Bureau’s (KFB) Foundation of Agriculture awards scholarships to college students studying in the fields that benefit agriculture and rural Kansas. Thirty-nine recipients were awarded $23,500 in scholarships for the 2021-22 school year.

Over the past decade the foundation has awarded more than $300,000 in scholarships.

“We’re investing in students today to ensure they become tomorrow’s leaders,” says KFB President and Foundation Chair Rich Felts.

Locally, Barton County Farm Bureau Awarded $3,200 in scholarships to area Barton County seniors. The Board of Directors feels it is important to give back to the community by way of our future leaders. The local Farm Bureau Association also donated $1,000 to the Barton County 4-H Council to be used as scholarship money for 4-H Jr. leaders to attend the Summer Leadership Camp at Rock Springs.
