Lee Borck inducted into Cattle Feeders Hall of Fame

Lee Borck, Chairman of Innovative Livestock Services, Inc. was inducted into the Cattle Feeders Hall of Fame in Denver on June 30th. Mr. Borck was recognized for developing innovative business models that add value to feeding cattle while satisfying the needs of the consumer. His feed yards and associated business ventures are meeting consumer demand through greater accountability in the areas of food safety, animal care and sustainable cattle production.

Mr. Borck is a founding shareholder of American State Bank of Great Bend and serves as chairman. He is the past President of Cattle-Fax and of the Kansas Livestock Association, and has also served as a board member of the Cattlemen’s Beef Board and the National Cattlemen’s Beef Board. Mr. Borck was Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Kansas State University Foundation. He was also Chairman of the Executive Committee and the Investment Committee at Kansas State University. In 1995 he was named an Alumni Fellow in the Kansas State College of Agriculture. Mr. Borck holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture Economics from Kansas State. This year Mr. Borck was named to Ingram’s "50 Kansans You Should Know". A native of Blue Rapids, Lee and his wife Kathy reside in Manhattan.
