Barb Gilmore Thorn of Great Bend competed in the 2015 NPC Midway USA Championship on May 16, in Wichita. She  placed first in novice and second in masters classes.
She has been training with David Tudor for a year preparing for this show.  
According to the show’s  website, she was judged on fitness and women’s physique, based on posing routines. Thorn, 51, is now getting ready for another show in August.
