The new state-of-the-art equipment at Renue Salon, Spa & Fashion Boutique promises an enhanced experience for clients who seek a professional facial treatment, said Allene Owen, cosmetologist and esthetician, which is a skin-care specialist.
“This new multi-functional machine has it all,” Owen said. “It comes equipped with everything we need to help our clients rejuvenate themselves.”
Features of the hydro-facial system include a pulsator, ultrasound, hydro-dermabrasion, LED mask and more.
Benefits from a facial involve eliminating dead skin cells, rejuvenating cell production, increasing collagen, improving elasticity, improving skin texture, and reducing fine lines and wrinkles.
“It also helps with reducing acne issues,” Owen said. “This special treatment offers hydration to the skin, which is very important because it provides moisture and nutrition to skin cells.
“Anyone concerned with acne, dry skin and the aging process is encouraged to try a facial. This includes men too. They don’t often seek a facial treatment but they would enjoy the same benefits as women.”
Owen has taken the specialized training for the hydro-facial system; it is being offered to two other cosmetologists/estheticians at Renue – Angela Liebl and Lisa Linsner.
“We also share information about how to prevent some concerns that are inherent in the aging process,” Owen noted. “Pollutants, smoking and drinking alcohol add to the deterioration of our skin cells. This, in turn, speeds up the aging process.”
Owen’s cosmetology experience spans more than 50 years.
