New pharmacist to join ECMC staff

Angela Broaderway

Angela Broaderway, PharmD, recently accepted the position of part-time Pharmacy Director at Ellsworth County Medical Center (ECMC).  Angela will begin her duties at ECMC Oct. 1, and comes to the medical center with a great deal of enthusiasm and education. A native of Kirksville, Mo., Broaderway moved with her family to Larned several years ago. She is a graduate of Larned High School, Fort Hays State University and a 2001 graduate of the University of Kansas School of Pharmacy. Angela will continue to be employed by St. Rose Ambulatory and Surgery Center in Great Bend as well as St. Joseph Memorial Hospital in Larned.
Angela is married to Tim who is currently attending the University of Kansas School of Pharmacy at their new campus in Wichita. The couple have two dogs, Geddy and Baxter and enjoy traveling, spending time at Lake Wilson, riding motorcycles and going to concerts.  Regarding coming to ECMC, Angela stated, “I feel this position is a great opportunity with many possibilities for expansion of pharmacy services at ECMC. I am excited about taking on a new challenge in my career and I am looking forward to working with the providers and staff at ECMC.” ECMC is proud to welcome Angela to their award-winning facility and trust that the new relationship will be beneficial to those patients served.
