Nicholson installed as KFDA President-elect

Bill Nicholson of Hoisington was recently installed as President-elect of the Kansas Funeral Directors Association at the KFDA Convention held May 5-7, at the Wichita Marriott.
Mr. Nicholson received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Kansas State University and his certificate of Mortuary Science from the University of Kansas. He is a licensed funeral director and embalmer, and is owner along with his son, Mike Nicholson, of Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home in Hoisington and Bryant Funeral Home in Great Bend.
Bill is a member of the First United Methodist Church of Hoisington; a member and past Master of Masonic Lodge #331 A.F. & A.M. Hoisington; and a member and past president of the Hoisington Chamber of Commerce. Bill served on the Hoisington City Council, and the Hoisington USD #431 Board of Education (Past President). He is a former member and past president of Kiwanis Club.
Bill resides in Hoisington with his wife Pattie. He has a son, Mike Nicholson, of Great Bend, two step sons, Barry Tarlton, of Woodstock, Ga., Kris Tarlton, of Hoisington; and eight grandchildren.
Other KFDA officers elected include Dudley Feuerborn of Garnett as President, Shane Brown of Gardner as Vice-President and Sam Steiner of Junction City as Secretary/Treasurer.
