Mike Niedens has started a new business, Mike Niedens Auction Services and Real Estate.
“We are excited to bring this new company to Barton County and the surrounding areas,” said Aaron Andrew, broker. “We have found there is still a great need for traditional auction services and we our very proud to have Mike Niedens’ extensive expertise and knowledge leading this new venture.”
Niedens was born in Great Bend and raised in Larned. He graduated high school in 1965 and went on to college for two years. He then enlisted in the United State Army in 1967 and served in combat in Vietnam. He was awarded the Bronze Star for Valor. His background includes over 40 years of auction services throughout central Kansas. In addition, he worked as a bank loan officer for nine years and a salesman in the oilfield for seven years. He brings to the business great enthusiasm, personal knowledge of the market, and extensive customer service experience.

Mike lives in Great Bend with his wife of 30 years, Sandy. They have one daughter, Molly and her husband, and a new granddaughter named Emma Rose. Mike has always been active in the community and has donated numerous hours of service doing auctions for many local charities and fundraisers.
Mike Niedens Auction Services and Real Estate will specialize in residential, land, and commercial auctions but will also have the ability to sell and list property.
