Southwind Drilling, Inc. of Ellinwood has recently promoted Fred Castillo to Director of Safety and Compliance. Fred will now oversee Southwind’s seven rotary drilling rigs making sure they maintain OSHA compliant and promote a safe working environment. Todd Morgenstern, President/CEO commented, “Fred’s work ethic and attention to detail makes him a perfect fit for this job”.
Fred has been employed with Southwind Drilling for the past 7 years in a number of capacities. Morgenstern stated, “Fred is a dependable and loyal employee that is very deserving of this promotion. We are fortunate to have him as part of our team at Southwind Drilling.”
Southwind Drilling, Inc. presently operates seven rotary drilling rigs, nine heavy haul trucks and has 110 employees with operations in South Central, Central, and Western Kansas.
